Monday, May 6 through Friday, May 10, 2019

Washington State Department of Transportation maintenance crews will make pavement repairs to a five-mile section of SR 20 between Fairmount Road to just north of Anderson Lake Road. Work will occur each day from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Drivers will encounter one-way alternating traffic with flaggers during the repairs.

 

Rider Alert: US 101 Paving Project

US 101 Paving Project starting as early as
Monday, April 22, 2019 through the summer

10 p.m. each Monday through Friday evening to 9 a.m. the following day

 

  • Route # 8 Sequim: possible delays on 6:12 a.m. departure to Sequim and 6:52 a.m. return from Sequim.
  • During construction transit stops may not be accessible on US 101 from Old Gardiner Road to north of West Uncas Road.

 

What to expect:

  • Travelers can expect overnight, single lane closures each weekday beginning as early as Monday, April 22 through late summer until work is complete.
  • During the overnight closures, drivers will follow a pilot car through the work zone.
  • No work is scheduled July 19-21 for the Sequim Lavender Festival.

 

WSDOT encourages late night ferry riders or those traveling across the SR 104 Hood Canal Bridge to plan extra time to reach their destinations during construction.

Budget Hearing

IMPORTANT NOTICE

The Jefferson Transit Authority (JTA) Board will hold a Budget Hearing on Tuesday, November 20, 2018, at 1:30 pm at the Jefferson Transit Authority Boardroom located at 63 4 Corners Road, Port Townsend WA. This meeting is being held to discuss the 2019 Operating/Capital Budget.  There will also be an Executive Session for discussion regarding property per RCW 42.30.110(1)(b), This meeting is open to the public and comments are encouraged.

The proposed 2019 Annual Operating/Capital Budget is available at the Haines Place Transit Center at 440 12th Street, Port Townsend, the Jefferson Transit Administration Building at 63 4 Corners Road, Port Townsend, and on the Jefferson Transit website at www.jeffersontransit.com.

Notification for the Budget Hearing was posted in the Port Townsend Leader (JTA Paper of Record) on 11/07/2018 and 11/14/2018, and posted on www.jeffersontransit.com.

Rider Alert: Service Change: September 17, 2018

Service Change: September 17, 2018

The Following schedule changes will be effective September 17, 2018.

New schedules are available.

 

#1 Brinnon-

Southbound Black Point Turnaround Stop was added to the Port  Townsend to Brinnon schedule.

Northbound Black Point Turnaround Stop was added to the Brinnon   to Port Townsend schedule.

#6A Tri Area- 

The 1:05 pm departure from Haines Place Park and Ride  has changed to 1:00 pm departure the time points for each stop on this route will be 4-5 minutes earlier and will arrive back at Haines Place Park and Ride at 1:52 pm instead of 1:56 pm

#8 Sequim-

The departure time for the 63 4 Corners Park and Ride from Sequim  to Port Townsend changed from 1:30 pm to 1:25 pm.
