Join Us in Shaping a Sustainable and Resilient Future for Transportation in Jefferson County
Climate change is one of the most pressing issues of our time, with far-reaching impacts on our environment, economy, and quality of life. At Jefferson Transit Authority (JTA), we are committed to addressing climate change by creating a more sustainable and resilient transportation system that benefits our community and future generations. As part of this commitment, we are developing a Climate Action Plan to guide our efforts in reducing greenhouse gas emissions, promoting clean and efficient transit options, and enhancing our community’s resilience to climate impacts.
Your Input Matters
We need your input! Please participate in our survey and consider joining a focus group or open house this summer or fall. Your feedback, ideas, and insights will help shape our Climate Action Plan to ensure that it reflects the needs and priorities of our community.
Take the JTA Climate Change Survey: The survey will close at 5 pm on June 7th.
In addition to the online survey (click the above link for access), paper copies of the survey are available at the Haines Place Transit Center (440 12th St, Port Townsend), Four Corners Park and Ride (63 4 Corners Rd, Port Townsend), and the Quilcene Community Center (294952 Hwy 101, Quilcene, WA).

• Dropping it off at the Four Corners Park and Ride (63 4 Corners Rd, Port Townsend, WA) or the Haines Place Transit Center (440 12th St, Port Townsend, WA)
• Dropping it off with a Jefferson Transit driver
