#2 Fort Worden Route
The Fort Worden route starts at Haines Place Park and Ride, and travels down San Juan Avenue into Fort Worden stopping in front of Peninsula College. There are miles of trails and long stretches of beach to explore at Fort Worden, perfect for a short outing or you can book a stay at one of the campgrounds. Whether you are spending the day or just a couple of hours, you can catch the bus back to Haines Place Park and Ride; the route makes stops along the way on Washington Street near Haller Fountain for easy access to the Uptown and downtown areas of Port Townsend to enjoy the many restaurants/bars, grocery stores and shopping.
