Agency Funding
Jefferson Transit Authority is primarily funded by local sales tax and also receives State funding to support operations and capital projects. The Fixed Route Service, and Dial-a-Ride Service receive support via funding from Washington’s Climate Commitment Act. The CCA supports Washington’s climate action efforts by putting cap-and-invest dollars to work reducing climate pollution, creating jobs, and improving public health.
